Ask what is on your Mac screen—out loud

Capture the relevant visual, choose Command, and ask the question. Alder uses the screen context you explicitly provide instead of continuously watching your desktop.

From visible problem to grounded answer

  1. Bring the relevant document, page, or interface into view.
  2. Capture the part that should travel with the question.
  3. Select Command and speak what you need to know.
  4. Review the visible result and keep it available through History or Library.

Useful screen questions

  • “What is the one claim this chart is making?”
  • “Explain the error shown here and give me the next check.”
  • “Turn these visible requirements into a short checklist.”
  • “Compare this screen with the selected passage I attached.”

Capture is an action, not ambient surveillance

Alder does not need to treat the entire desktop as permanent context. A screen source enters the workflow through an explicit capture, stays distinct from selected text or a web page, and cannot silently become an output image.

For long documents, attach the source itself

A screenshot is best for the visual fact in front of you. For a long PDF or detailed text, attach the file or relevant selections so the command can use the right material.
